New Mexico AP Convening 2027: Expanding Opportunities, Inspiring Possibilities

Join educators and educational leaders from across New Mexico on January 20–21, 2027 at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town, as we reconnect and work together to improve and increase Advanced Placement opportunities across our state! Whether you're part of an established AP program, looking to strengthen opportunities at your school, or exploring AP for the very first time, this convening is for you. Connect with experienced AP educators and College Board professionals, exchange classroom resources and strategies, tackle common challenges in dedicated collaboration rooms, and build relationships that can offer guidance and support long after the Convening ends. Together, we can ensure that a student's ZIP code never determines their access to academic rigor, college preparation, or future possibilities.

Presentation Call for Proposal

Increasing Value, Access, and Growing Our AP Programs:  In New Mexico, students have a lot of choices. We want to spotlight why AP is uniquely powerful; its rigor, its college portability, and how it opens doors for our kids. We are looking for NM teachers, coordinators, and administrators to share what is actually working in their classrooms, buildings and communities to increase AP access and success for New Mexico students.
