At POMS, she is spearheading statewide initiatives to educate students and communities on healthy relationships, online safety, school violence prevention, and fostering positive school climates. Her dedication has earned her notable recognition, including being featured in the Albuquerque Journal as a "Life Changer of the Year" awardee. For the past five years, Angelique has been an active board member of the New Mexico Safe School Summit and the New Mexico school threat assessment team.
