Robert (Rob) Hart is the Director of the Organized Crime Commission (OCC) in New Mexico.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law and has a
Master’s degree in Geography.
Prior to becoming director of the OCC, Hart prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases as a
Senior Trial Attorney at the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office. He also previously
clerked for the Honorable Briana Zamora at the New Mexico Court of Appeals, where he
researched and analyzed complex legal issues. Hart is a former Geospatial Scientist for the El
Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), where he performed multi-intelligence fusion analysis and led
briefings for generals and high-ranking government officials. During his time at EPIC, Hart
focused his efforts on security and protection endeavors with various federal agency partners.
His background in the courtroom and evidence-based, strategic perception brings the necessary
and fundamental approach to address organized crime in New Mexico.
