Kirk Carpenter devoted thirty-one years to public education, all within the Aztec Municipal School District. He began as a teacher for eight years before moving into administration, serving six years as Assistant Principal, two and a half years as Principal, two and a half years as Deputy Superintendent, and twelve years as Superintendent. He also coached football and baseball for fourteen years, an experience that strengthened his commitment to student development.
Over the past eight years, Carpenter has presented nationally in more than seven states, focusing on topics related to school safety. His dedication to this cause continues through his own consulting company, which allows them to further support safe educational environments. Throughout his career, he has facilitated a variety of leadership classes and taught at the college level, sharing his expertise and inspiring future leaders.
